Anywho… My question is, what is a mini netbook? And why are they getting so popular?

A netbook is a mini laptop that is not only smaller in size, but smaller in power.

They are used for simple little tasks such as surfing the net, writing up a school paper, chatting with your grandma or your best friend over AIM, and sending a Tweet.

What you cannot get away with is running multiple, large applications that take up a lot of memory. If you are a big gamer, you should probably stay clear from a computer like this.

Netbooks are perfect for stay at home moms just killing some time, students, grandparents who don’t know how to run a computer, etc.

If you need an ultra portable device to simply stay connected when you are out, a netbook is for you!
