A question that I receive from time to time is, “what is the difference between linux hosting and windows hosting”?
Well the answer is super simple. Linux hosting is a server that is powered by a Linux operating system. Windows hosting is a server that is powered by a Windows based operating system.
Each has their pros and cons, but in most cases, they both allow you to do pretty much anything you want with your website. Because Windows hosting is a Microsoft based product, there are some pretty cool advantages in terms of add ons and plugins that you can incorporate into your website. It makes your website more interactive and enjoyable for the end user. The only down side to a Windows hosting package is the fact that it does cost a little more money because it is a Microsoft product.
Either way, I think you will be happy with whatever server you decide to run your website on. Just make sure that you find the best web hosting services that you can find!
